Burster Blast

You are an alien parasite, feeding off the bodies of it's hosts! Jump from host to host and consume them all!

Based on the idea of a chestbursting alien from the film series of the same name, Burster Blast is a 2D puzzle-esque physics based game where you must jump between host bodies and attempt to consume them all! Unfortunately you can only control your jumps from within a host, once you fly through the air you'll have three chances to flop about to reach another or you'll have to reset! Try to plan your route ahead and use the environment to your advantage!

Controls:

Mouse to aim

Hold LMB to charge

Release LMB to burst from host

Space to flop in a direction when on ground or in air

E/Q Zoom in/Out

TAB toggle Explore mode

Whilst in Explore Mode:

WASD/Arrow Keys to fly about map

TAB toggles back onto player

R resets level if out of flops and cannot reach next host

Kill all the hosts to proceed to the next level!

This game was created as part of my university's Rapid Games Prototyping module, this weeks theme was Alien VS Vampire and the modifier was Foley, meaning all sounds in the game were recorded by me with various things! Thanks for playing, hope you enjoy!

P.S the game only has two levels so once you complete number two that's it for now!
